When I get branding jobs, the process starts with a long bout of research followed closely by sketches in my trusty brown book. It gets especially exciting when the branding will kick start a new business – and the end result makes everyone involved jump with glee.
Simple is beautiful
The logo has to work everywhere. So I keep it simple. There's a time for using graphics and a time for purist typography.
